We actually have an incredibly talented team creating hard surface and sci-fi designs. A lot of the work we present is often more apocalyptic or organic and it was important for us to also share some of the other skills that the team has outside of what is commonly seen in our portfolio. The entire console was textured from a trim sheet and set of pre-baked meshes. The design of this console will help us to shape the design language, shapes, and understanding of the rest of the assets that we will make for this Sci-Fi Mech Bay Environment.
- This Sci-Fi Mech Console is actually controlled by the user placing their hands inside of the slots on the front of the console. They then form a biological connection to be able to control the console through their thoughts, eye movements, and internal action.
- The purpose of the console is to take these cylindrical battery and data packs out of the Mechs from the Mech bays, to monitor their sustainability, review video footage, recharge the canisters, repair and replace canisters as needed
